CHEVROLET – 6 CYLINDER ENGINES

      grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up to

     400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–    Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

       cork or neoprene.   

–    Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

       eliminate corrosion.

–    Gaskets are 100% reusable.

1 Silicone gasket  – Gasket is 1/8″ THICK.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.
2.    Remove all traces of oil
3.    The gasket must be installed DRY (NO OIL or lube of any type).
4.   TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS
5.    Do not over tighten!  

Over tightening causes the gasket to bulge

out or squeeze out.

If that happens, then back off on the torque.

TO REUSE GASKET:

1.    Wash gasket briefly in hot water and soap.   
2.    Rinse and dry the gasket thoroughly. 
3.    Re-install gasket using the above installation instructions.

DO NOT SOAK GASKET IN SOLVENT OR GASOLINE.
