VALVE COVER GASKETS – SILICONE

LE BLOND / KEN ROYCE RADIAL ENGINES 

–   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical 

     grade AMS silicone and designed to withstand temperatures 

     up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up 

     like cork or neoprene.   

–   Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces,

     and eliminates corrosion. 

–   Gaskets are 100% reusable.

Gasket is 1/16″ thick silicone.

Gasket is sold individually.

Reusable.

These gaskets are available in a package of 10 gaskets

and found under part #: RG-08527-10

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Gasket surfaces must be clean and dry.  
2.    Remove all traces of oil.
3.    Install gasket DRY.    Use no oil or lube of any kind.
4.    TORQUE:     15  INCH POUNDS.

CAUTION – DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!  

If you over tighten it makes the gasket bulge out or squeeze out.  

If that happens, then back off on the torque.

TO REUSE GASKET:   

1.    Wash gasket briefly in hot water and soap.  
2.    Rinse the gaskets thoroughly and then dry all surfaces. 
3.    Re-install gaskets using the above installation instructions.
