VALVE COVER GASKETS – Silicone

             for

FORD BIG BLOCK V8

     grade AMS silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up

     to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up

      like cork or neoprene.   

–   Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces, and

     eliminate corrosion.

–   Gaskets are 100% reusable.

Set of 2 silicone gaskets – gaskets are 1/8″ thick.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.  
• Remove all traces of oil.
• The gasket must be installed  DRY – do not use oil or lube of any type
• TORQUE to 20-25  INCH pounds

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN – 

it causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out.  

If that happens then back off on the torque.

TO REUSE GASKETS:  

Wash gaskets in hot soapy water,

rinse well, dry thoroughly.   

Re-install using the above instructions.
