VALVE COVER GASKET

for

 CHEVROLET    STRAIGHT 6 (no bolt holes)

Fits Models:      Chevrolet Straight 6 Cylinder 

                         1933 to 1953      216, 235 CID

                    1954 to 1962      261 CID

This silicone Valve Cover gasket has no bolt holes.

 –   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical

         grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up to

         400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

   –    Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

          cork or neoprene.   

   –    Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

          eliminate corrosion.

   –    Gaskets are 100% reusable.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.

Remove all traces of oil.

The gasket must be installed DRY  (No oil or lube of any type).

TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS.

Be sure to follow the torque instructions on the label.

Don’t over tighten 

–   as that causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out.

TO REUSE GASKET:

Wash gasket briefly in hot water and soap.

Rinse well, dry all surfaces thoroughly.

Re-install using the above installation instructions.
