“ULTIMATE”  SILICONE IS FIBERGLASS REINFORCED SILICONE 

This may be the last gasket you will ever need to buy!

–  The gaskets have a layer of fiberglass that is centered between two  layers  of silicone

     which allows the material to maintains its original  dimensions  when subjected to 

     changes in temperature and humidity.   

     As a result, it has a higher tensile strength. 

–  These gaskets are made from aerospace/mechanical grade silicone 

    and for that reason they will not break down and deform or crack up 

    like cork or neoprene.

– The silicone material is resistant to deterioration by weathering     

    and engine oil and therefore remains flexible over the

    temperature range noted.

– It will withstand operating temperatures from  -100 

   to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.     

– Most noteworthy, it is a reusable gasket.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Consequently, this is a very heavy duty gasket.

Set of four “ULTIMATE” silicone gaskets.

Gaskets are 1/16″ thick.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    All surfaces must be clean and dry.  
2.    Remove all traces of oil
3.    Install gaskets DRY (Use No oil or lube of any kind).
4.    Torque 40-50  INCH pounds.

            Do not over tighten 

            – it causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out.

TO RE-USE GASKET:

1.    Wash gaskets in hot soapy water.   
2.    Rinse gaskets and dry thoroughly.
3.    Re-install gasket using the above installation instructions.
