Oil Pan Gasket  –  “Ultimate” Silicone

Dodge Diesel 5.9L Cummins – 12 & 24 Valve

This may be the last gasket you will ever need to buy!

   –   A layer of fiberglass is centered between 2 layers of silicone

        and gives the material extra stability and ultimate strength.

   –   This is the absolute most stress that a material can resist

        while being pulled or stretched which makes this

        one tough gasket. 

   –   The silicone is resistant to deterioration by weathering

         and/or engine oil.

  –    Therefore it remains flexible over the temperature range

         noted.

   –   In addition, this gasket will  withstand operating temperatures

        from -100 to 500 degrees F.

   –   Above all, it is a reusable gasket.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Remove all traces of oil by washing the block and oil pan surfaces with solvent.

The gasket must be installed DRY – do not use oil or lube of any type.

TORQUE TO 45-50 INCH POUNDS

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!

Over tightening makes the gasket bulge or squeeze out.

If that happens then back off on the torque.

TO REUSE GASKET:

Wash gasket briefly in hot water and soap.

Rinse well and dry all surfaces thoroughly.

Re-install using the above installation instructions.

DO NOT SOAK IN SOLVENT OR GASOLINE.
