INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. GASKET SURFACES MUST BE CLEAN AND DRY
WITH NO LUBRICATION OF ANY TYPE.
Remove all traces of oil.
This includes the threaded holes in the cylinder.
2. INSTALL GASKET- DRY AND CROSS TIGHTEN TO VALUE LISTED.
COLD ENGINE – 25 INCH POUNDS
WARM ENGINE – 20 INCH POUNDS
CAUTION – DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!
Over tightening makes the gasket bulge or squeeze out.
3. PERFORM ENGINE RUN AND CHECK FOR LEAKS.
TO REUSE GASKET:
- Wash briefly in hot water and soap.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry all surfaces.
- Re-install gasket using the above installation instructions.
