Valve Cover Gasket – Silicone

–   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical

     grade AMS silicone and designed to withstand temperatures

     up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up

     like cork or neoprene.   

–   Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces,

    and eliminate corrosion.

–   Gaskets are 100% reusable.

Reusable gasket

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Wash the cover and cylinder flange with solvent.    
2.    Remove all traces of oil.
3.    The surfaces must be DRY – DON’T USE OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE.
4.    TORQUE :  20-25 INCH POUNDS  

  DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!

If the gasket starts to bulge or “pooch out” that 

is a sign of over tightening,  back off on the torque a bit.

TO REUSE GASKET: 

1.    Wash gasket briefly in hot soapy water   
2.    Rinse well & dry thoroughly.
   
3.    Re-install gasket using the above installation instructions.
