One silicone gasket  –   1/8″  thick.

Reusable gasket. 

 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash the cover and cylinder with solvent.    

Remove all traces of oil.

The surfaces must be DRY   (NO OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE).

 

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS:

Torque to 20-25 inch pounds.   

 

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!

If the gasket is over tightened it starts to squeeze or “pooch” out.  

If that happens than back off on the torque.  

It is okay to use Loctite on the bolts.

 

TO REUSE GASKET:   

Wash gasket briefly in hot soapy water.   

Rinse well & dry all surfaces thoroughly.    

After that, reinstall gasket using the above

installation instructions.
