Rocker Box Cover Gasket – Silicone

(also called Rocker Box Inspection Gasket or Valve Cover Gasket)

Fits:

BSA:   A75 Rocket III, A75V Rocket III  (Part # 70-6565)

and

TRIUMPH:  T150, T150V & T160 Trident 

                         and X75 Hurricane models (Part # 71-1445)

Gaskets are made of silicone

   –   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical

        grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up to

        400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

   –    Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

         cork or neoprene.   

   –    Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

         eliminate corrosion.

   –    Gaskets are 100% reusable.

One silicone gasket – 1/8″ thick

Reusable

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.   
2.    Remove all traces of oil.
3.    Silicone gaskets are installed DRY (No oil or lube used of any type).

                    TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS

**Do not over tighten**    

It causes the gasket to squeeze or bulge out. 

Silicone gaskets should not bulge or “pooch out”.   

If this happens, then back off on the torque.

To reuse the gasket:

1.    Wash gasket in hot water and soap. 
2.    Rinse and dry all surfaces of gasket thoroughly. 
3.    Re-install gasket using the above installation instructions.
