Valve Cover Gasket Set  –  Silicone

–   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical

      grade AMS silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up 

      to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–    Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

       cork or neoprene.   

–    Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

       eliminate corrosion.

–    Gaskets are 100% reusable.

– Set of two (2) Silicone gaskets

– Gaskets have four (4) bolt holes 

   and are 1/8″ thick silicone

– Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.  

Remove all traces of oil.

The gasket must be installed  DRY – do not use oil or lube of any type.

TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS      

Do not over tighten!

If you over tighten it causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out.   

IF THAT HAPPENS, back off on the torque.

TO REUSE GASKET:

Wash gaskets briefly in hot water and soap.   

Rinse and dry gaskets thoroughly.

Re-install gaskets using the above installation instructions.

DO NOT  SOAK  GASKETS IN SOLVENT OR GASOLINE.
