VALVE COVER GASKETS – Silicone

–     Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical

       grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up to

       400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–      Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

        cork or neoprene.   

–      Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

        eliminate corrosion.

–      Gaskets are 100% reusable.

Set of two (2) silicone gaskets

Gaskets have seven (7) bolt holes and are 1/8″  THICK.

Reusable.

This gasket is also made out of “ULTIMATE”  fiberglass reinforced Silicone,

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.  
2.    Remove all traces of oil.
3.    The gasket must be installed DRY.  DO NOT USE OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE.

               TORQUE TO  20-25 INCH POUNDS 

               DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!   

Over tightening the gaskets causes the gaskets to

BULGE OR “POOCH” OUT AND LEAK.

If the gaskets starts to squeeze out then you are over tightening,

back off on the torque.

TO REUSE GASKET:

1.    Wash gasket in hot soapy water. 
2.    Rinse gasket and dry surfaces thoroughly. 
3.    Re-install gasket using the above installation instructions.

DO NOT SOAK  GASKETS IN SOLVENT OR GASOLINE.
