PUSHROD COVER GASKET  – SILICONE

FORD Y BLOCK

      to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

       like cork or neoprene.

Reusable gasket.   

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.   

All traces of oil should be removed.

The gasket must be installed DRY   (NO OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE).

TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS  

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.    

It causes the gasket to bulge out or squeeze out.

TO REUSE GASKET: 

Wash gasket in hot soapy water.  

Rinse the gasket well and dry thoroughly.    

Re-install using the above installation instructions.

Be sure to follow our torque recommendation of 20-25 inch pounds.
