Set of 2 silicone gaskets.
Gasket thickness is 1/16″
– follow torque instructions on package. (see picture of label)
Reusable.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Wash the cover and cylinder flange with solvent.
- Remove all traces of oil.
- The surfaces must be DRY (no oil or lube of any type).
- Install gasket dry.
- TORQUE: 10-15 INCH POUNDS
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN
– it causes the gasket to bulge out or squeeze out.
If that happens back off on the torque.
It is okay to use Loctite on the bolts.
TO RE-USE GASKET:
- Wash the gasket briefly in hot soapy water.
- Rinse well and dry thoroughly.
- Re-install gasket using the above installations instructions.
