Valve Cover Gasket – Silicone

     grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up

     to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

     cork or neoprene.   

–  Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

     eliminate corrosion.

–  Gaskets are 100% reusable.

A complete set takes 18 gaskets.  This set is available under  Part #:  RG-88962-18

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Clean valve covers with solvent and remove all traces of oil.
2.    Gasket surfaces must be clean and DRY.
3.    Install gaskets DRY.       
4.    TORQUE: 10 TO 14 INCH POUNDS.    

CAUTION – DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!

Over tightening makes the gaskets bulge out or squeeze out.  

If that happens then back off on the torque.

Instructions are included in the package of gaskets.

TO REUSE GASKETS: 

1.    Wash gaskets briefly on hot soapy water. 
2.    Rinse thoroughly and then dry all surfaces. 
3.    Re-install gaskets following the above installation instructions.
