Valve Cover Gaskets – Silicone

     grade AMS silicone and designed to withstand temperatures

     up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up

     like cork or neoprene.   

–   Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces, and

     eliminates corrosion.

–   Gaskets are 100% reusable.

Set of 2 gaskets.

Silicone gaskets are 1/16″ thick.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Wash the cover and cylinder flange with solvent.
2.    Remove all traces of oil.
3.    The surfaces must be DRY. (No oil or lube of any type on the surfaces)
4.    Install the gaskets DRY.  
5.    TORQUE:  10-15 INCH POUNDS

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.   

If the gaskets start to bulge or “pooch” out then you 

are over tightening – back off on the torque.

It is okay to use Loctite on the bolts.

TO REUSE GASKETS: 

1.    Wash the gaskets in hot soapy water.  
2.    Rinse well and dry thoroughly.  
3.    Re-install gaskets using the above installation instructions.
