–   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical 

     grade AMS silicone and therefore designed to withstand

     temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up 

     like cork or neoprene.   

–   Also, our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces, and

     eliminates corrosion.

–   In addition, the silicone gaskets are 100% reusable.

Set of two silicone gaskets – 1/16″ thick.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:   

1.    Wash the cover and Cylinder Flange with solvent.   
2.    Remove all traces of oil.
   
3.    The surfaces must be DRY  (NO OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE).  
4.    Install gasket dry.
   
5.   TORQUE :    10 to 15   INCH POUNDS

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN 

– it causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out.

It is okay to use Loctite on the bolts.

TO REUSE GASKET:  

1.    Wash gasket BRIEFLY  in hot soapy water.
2.    Rinse and dry gasket thoroughly.
   
3.    Re-install gasket using the above instructions.
