VALVE COVER GASKET  –  SILICONE

CONTINENTAL   W-670 Series

–   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical

     grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures

     up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

      cork or neoprene.   

–    Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

      eliminate corrosion.

–    Gaskets are 100% reusable.

Gaskets have six bolt holes 

and are 1/16″ thick silicone.

Price is per gasket.

These gaskets are available in a set of 14 gaskets and found under Part #: RG-20254-14

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Wash the cover and mounting surfaces with solvent.   
2.    Remove all traces of oil.
3.    Gaskets surfaces most be clean and dry.
4.    Silicone gaskets are installed DRY (No oil or lube used of any type).  
5.    TORQUE: 15 TO 20 INCH POUNDS. 

CAUTION

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!

Over tightening causes the gaskets to bulge out or squeeze out.

If that happens then back off on the torque.

TO REUSE GASKET: 

1.    Wash gasket briefly in hot soapy water.
2.    Rinse well and dry thoroughly.   
3.    Re-install gasket using the above installation instructions.
