VALVE COVER GASKET – Silicone

JOHN DEERE  Tractors – Model 60

        to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

         like cork or neoprene.

One gasket

Gasket is 1/8″ thick silicone.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash the cover and cylinder flange with solvent.    

Remove all traces of oil.

The surfaces must be DRY – DON’T USE OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE.

TORQUE :  20-25 INCH POUNDS     

Do not over tighten.

If the gasket starts to bulge or “pooch out” that is a sign of 

over tightening, back off on the torque a bit.

TO REUSE GASKET: 

Wash gasket BRIEFLY  in hot water and soap.

Rinse well and dry all surfaces thoroughly.

Re-install using the above installation instructions.
