–   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical

     grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up to

     400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–    Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

      cork or neoprene.   

–    Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

      eliminate corrosion.

–    Gaskets are 100% reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Valve cover surfaces must be clean and dry.
2.    Remove all traces of oil.
3.    Install gasket DRY – no oil or lube of any kind.  
4.    TORQUE: 15 TO 20 INCH POUNDS.      

CAUTION – DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN! 

 If the gasket is over torqued it will start to bulge or “pooch” out.  

Back off on the torque if that happens. 

TO REUSE GASKET:   

1.    Wash gaskets briefly in hot soapy water. 
2.    Rinse gaskets thoroughly and dry all surfaces. 
3.    Re-install using the above installation instructions.
