VALVE COVER GASKETS – Silicone

              for

MOPAR SMALL BLOCK V8 

–   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical 

     grade AMS silicone and therefore designed to withstand

     temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up 

     like cork or neoprene.   

–   Also, our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces, and

     eliminates corrosion.

–   In addition, the silicone gaskets are 100% reusable.

Set of two silicone gaskets.  

Gaskets have five (5) bolt holes and are 1/8″ thick.

Reusable gasket.

Also, this gasket is available in “ULTIMATE” silicone (fiberglass reinforced silicone)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.  
2.    Remove all traces of oil.    
3.    The gasket MUST be installed DRY (No oil or lube of any type).
4.    TORQUE to 20-25 INCH POUNDS –   

            DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.   

            If the gasket starts to bulge or “pooch” out,  

            you are over tightening.

            IF that happens then back off on the torque.

To reuse gasket:  

1.    Wash the gasket briefly in hot soapy water. 
2.    Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3.    Reinstall gasket using the above installation instructions.
