VALVE COVER GASKET SET

             for

FORD, LINCOLN, MERCURY – SMALL BLOCK V8

      grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up to

      400 degrees Fahrenheit.   

–   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like

      cork or neoprene.   

–    Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and 

      eliminate corrosion.

–    Gaskets are 100% reusable.

Set of two (2) silicone gaskets

Gaskets are 1/8″ thick.

These are reusable silicone gaskets. 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:  

Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent. 

Remove all traces of oil.  

Install the gasket DRY – do not use oil or lube of any type.

•  TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS    

    “DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!”

Over tightening makes the gasket bulge out 

or squeeze out.  

If that happens then back off on the torque.  

TO RE-USE GASKET:

Wash gaskets in hot soapy water.

Rinse well, dry all surfaces thoroughly.   

Re-install gasket following the above 

installation instructions.
