VALVE COVER GASKET

             for

FORD INLINE 240, 300 CID

This may be the last gasket you will ever need to buy!

–  A layer of fiberglass is centered between 2 layers of silicone

    and gives the material stronger stability and higher

    tensile strength. 

–  It will withstand operating temperatures from -100 to 500 degrees F.  

–  The material is resistant to deterioration by weathering

     and engine oil and remains flexible over the temperature

     range noted.

–   Reusable gasket.

One silicone gasket with eight (8) bolt holes.

Gasket is 1/8″ thick silicone.

Reusable.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Wash the valve cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.  
• Remove all traces of oil.
  

The gasket MUST be installed DRY   (NO OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE). 

TORQUE TO 45-50 INCH POUNDS

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN – 

It causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out.   

TO REUSE GASKET:

Wash the gasket briefly in hot soapy water.    

Rinse the gasket off and dry all surfaces thoroughly.      

Re-install gasket using the above installation instructions.

DO NOT SOAK IN SOLVENT OR GASOLINE.
