VALVE COVER GASKET SET – SILICONE

for

FORD or MERCURY V-6

     withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

      crack up like cork or neoprene.

Set of 2 silicone gaskets

Each gasket has eight (8) bolt holes

Gaskets are 1/8″ thick silicone.

Reusable gasket.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash the cover and cylinder head with solvent.  

Remove all traces of oil.

The gasket must be installed DRY  – 

(Use NO OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE). 

TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS  

 DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!

–  If you over tighten, it causes the gasket 

       to bulge or squeeze out

If that happens then back off on the torque.

TO REUSE GASKET:

Wash gasket briefly in hot soapy water.     

Rinse well and dry thoroughly.

RE-INSTALL using the above instructions.

DO NOT SOAK GASKET IN SOLVENT OR GASOLINE.
